...INSTEAD, CHRIS & DORA ARE HERE IN THE USA for a brief tour and they will be rocking the house (ok, maybe I'm getting a little carried away)...sharing their story of what God has been doing in Thailand over the past two years. Word has it that Chris will even be sitting in with the band and leading us in a song following their message (so, see, maybe they really will rock the house :-). It's also a time for you to renew your investment or purchase new stock in the BARBEE STOCK EXCHANGE! During the month of May you will have the opportunity to purchase shares (pledge support) at $10 per share per month to support Chris & Dora's ongoing mission in Thailand. The idea is that Hope Springs members and anyone else interested in supporting the Barbees through Hope Springs can give through the church. Each month Hope Springs sends a check to the Mission Society designated to their Thailand mission. And, the best part of it all? So, ask God what he would have you give, whether it be a single $10 share per month or 10 shares at $100 per month or anything in between, and let's sow generous seed into God's servants, Chris & Dora Barbee.

AND ONE MORE THING. Word has leaked out that the Barbees will also bring an opening act to the live show on Sunday! "Natalie and the Next Barbee" will also be making an appearance...ok, Natalie will make an appearance while "the Next Barbee" will be taking it all in by way of some kind of sonar sound waves or however it is that babies still in the womb hear what's happening around them, but you get what I mean. OOPS! ONE MORE ONE MORE THING! While in the U.S. the Barbees will be traveling speaking in churches and sharing their story and raising support elsewhere. During June and maybe part of July they will be in need of a reliable car. If you have a spare vehicle or if you could do some carpooling and make one available for the entire time or even just a few days here and there, please let us know.
