Who We Are
At Hope Springs we embrace change in plans, style and structure regularly. We believe effective methods of reaching people will change frequently. Yet, we believe our identity as the body of Christ contains a set of core values that remain constant and define who we are and what we do. Our reason for existing flows out of these values and guides our life together. It is our intent to reproduce the following core values in every area of our church life and remain firmly committed to living out our purpose in everything we do.
Our Core Values
Our ultimate purpose is to glorify God. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together. Psalm 34:3
Lost people matter to God, therefore they matter to us. Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? Luke 15:4
We are created to be in community. . . go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19
We are created to be Christlike. . .and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:20
Every member is a minister. . . he gave some to be . . . pastors and teachers to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up . . . Ephesians 4:11-12
